biblical womanhood

So God created humans in His image. In the image of God He created him. He created them male and female.
(GENESIS 1:27)

And the Lord God said, ‘It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him.
(GENESIS 2:18)

Tell older women to live their lives in a way that shows they are dedicated to God. Tell them not to be gossips or addicted to alcohol, but to be examples of virtue. In this way they will teach young women to show love their husbands and children, to use good judgment, and to be morally pure. Also, tell them to teach young women to be homemakers, to be kind, and to place themselves under their husbands’ authority. Then no one can speak evil of God’s Word.
(TITUS 2:3-5)

let’s begin with a letter from your father

Dear Child, I want to remind you today of how beautiful you are because there is a father of lies who will try to deceive you. He will tell you that you aren’t good enough or pretty enough or smart enough. He will tempt you to doubt Me and then, after you do, he will accuse you of being a failure.

He will tell you that you’ve broken one too many promises, that you’ve fallen one too many times, that you’ve lived one too many lies, and that you’ve been going in the wrong direction for so long that it’s pointless to turn back now. You, he hisses, are unimportant to God.

But guess what? You do not belong to him. He is not your father. I AM.

You have been born of My thought — every part of you carefully put together by My hands. You have My thumbprint upon you. You are My creation! My workmanship! My joy! My very own child!

You are not loved because you are precious. You are precious because you are loved… by Me! There is no ocean too deep or mountain too high that can separate us. Yes, sin did change My perfect creation. And, yes, every human being is born in sin because Adam and Eve rebelled against Me. But, I could not turn My back on them… or you! I sent My own Son, Jesus Christ, to pay for your life with His blood. In the name of Jesus, amazing grace has washed over you.

I have done everything there is to do and given all that there is to give — for you! Everything has been accomplished through the suffering, death and resurrection of My Son and your Savior Jesus Christ. It is finished! Your life is precious because I created it, love it, and redeemed it! There is nothing else you need to do!

The father of lies will whisper in your ear: “Did God really say . . . ?” He fans the flames of doubt. But, I am unchangeable. My Word is Truth. I desire to be with you every moment of every day. My love for you never grows cold. My promises are never broken. My character never changes. And you, My child, have been made in My image. You are beautiful. You have purpose. You have hope in every situation… because of Me.

I love you dearly, unconditionally, and completely. I understand every emotion that you feel. I see every tear that you cry. And, when you don’t know what to pray, My Spirit prays for you with words deeper than any sigh.

I know everything there is to know about you. I know your weaknesses and your failures and your fears. I know your secrets. None of this changes My love for you. My faithfulness to you is for eternity.

Learn about Me! Believe Me! Find order in the midst of chaos with Me.

Begin your days with Me. Calm your nights with Me.

Entrust your heart to Me. I hold it close to My own. Your Heavenly Father
